The Observatory joins MCA

The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) has announced that The Observatory International has joined the Association.

The Observatory International specialises in consulting for the Marketing Services sector, helping Marketing and Procurement professionals to deliver greater value from their communications agencies.

Its senior consultants give clear, objective advice backed up by proprietary data and expert analysis – and reliable, quantifiable processes to add value well into the future.

Lucinda Peniston-Baines, joint founder and managing partner of The Observatory International, said: “The Observatory International’s commitment to quality and professionalism strongly echoes the MCA’s principles and Code of Practice. Our membership will give clients further reassurance that they are engaging the only MCA-recognised consultancy in our field. We’re looking forward to being an active member of the Association and bringing our specialised knowledge and international perspective to the membership.”

Alan Leaman, chief executive of the MCA said: “We are delighted to welcome The Observatory International to the MCA. As new members of the Association they have demonstrated a track record of excellent consultancy work, together with a commitment to high standards of client service. The Observatory International will bring a distinctive voice to the work of the MCA.”

MCA members represent around 70% of the UK consulting sector by fee income and membership has become synonymous with quality and professionalism in consulting. All members adhere to the MCA Code of Practice that provides the consultancy buyer with reassurance that MCA firms maintain the highest standards. The MCA also offers a wide range of activities and member services, and provides a platform for government and industry stakeholders and the media to engage in debate with consultants about wider issues facing the UK economy.
